Comparison of Plant Diversity in Tahura R. Soerjo Area with Plant Exploration from Purwodadi Botanic Garden

R. Soerjo Forest Park call by “Tahura R. Soerjo” is a conservation area of natural resources with the aim of collecting plants and animals that are used for research, science, and education. The area of Tahura R. Soerjo is managed by the Forest Agency of East Java Province. The stategic of conservation area in Indonesia devide into in-situ and ex-situ. One example of in-situ conservation is Tahura R. Soerjo, in other hand Purwodadi Botanic Garden (KRP) is ex-situ conservation also in East Java Province. The Purwodadi Botanic Garden have task of conservation, research, education, tourism and environmental services. The purpose of this study is to compare the plants diversity of Tahura R. Soerjo from inventory data in 2005 by Tahura with exploration result data in 2017 by KRP. This a descriptive research, use data from Tahura and Registation-KRP, were conducted from July 22, to August 28, 2018. The result of plants diversity from inventory data 2005 about 160, comparing with exploration data2017, about 179 which divided into 6 groups with a sequential number of species, 39: 45: 20: 27: 20: and 28.
