Abstract

This study discusses the integration of sharia smart contracts into the Collection of Money or Goods (PUB) regulations as a solution to synchronize the provisions of the Indonesian Ulema Council through MUI Fatwa No. 66/2022 on disaster fundraising practices on social media. The rapid growth of digital donations often raises issues of transparency, accountability, and compliance with sharia principles. On the other hand, the Regulation of Money and Goods Collection (PUB) requires updates to keep pace with the development of blockchain-based technologies. This study uses a normative qualitative approach by analyzing regulations, fatwas, and digital fundraising practices in Indonesia. The results show that the integration of sharia smart contracts can be an automated mechanism that ensures funds are distributed according to sharia contracts, objectives, and principles in a transparent and documented manner. This system allows contract verification, real-time reporting, and restrictions on the use of funds to comply with the provisions of MUI Fatwa No. 66/2022. Thus, this integration has the potential to increase public trust, strengthen the governance of disaster fundraising, and create harmony between PUB 2026 regulations and sharia principles in the digital ecosystem
