Development of Literature Based E-modules PjBL Based on Moral Values in Riau Malay Folk Songs in the Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

The urgency of this research is the current decline in student character due to the increasingly advanced influence of globalization, resulting in a moral crisis. To address this problem, teachers need to shape student character in the learning process through engaging content that incorporates local culture, namely Riau Malay folk songs. These folk songs are used as learning content because they contain many moral values, good character, and noble values ​​that can shape students' personalities from an early age, such as mutual cooperation, politeness, obedience, caring, resilience, patience, and compassion. The purpose of this research is to develop an e-module based on Project Based Learning based on moral values ​​in the songs of the Riau Malay people in Literature Learning in Class VIII of Junior High School in the Merdeka curriculum. This research method is a type of development research (Research and Development/R&D). The development model is the ADDIE learning design model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluate). The results of this study show the results of expert validation of material, media, language, and presentation of this teaching material are Very Suitable for use in literature learning; and based on teacher assessments of the development of PjBL-based literature learning e-modules, it shows the category of "Very Suitable" and student responses to the e-modules also show "Very Suitable". The conclusion of this study is that the e-modules that have been developed meet the standards for use as teaching materials for literature learning in the Merdeka curriculum.
