The purpose <br>of this study was to determine the profile of students’ learning motivation in <br>PJJ in the transition period in class VIII SMP N 4 Gringsing. The research <br>was conducted qualitatively descriptively on 5 participants. The results <br>showed that not all students had adequate learning motivation. Constraints <br>on learning equipment make it difficult for students to follow the lesson. <br>Students have difficulty managing the task at hand and direct themselves to <br>want to continue learning between difficulties in adjusting to new ways. <br>Students are not motivated to ask the subject teacher even if they do not <br>understand the material. Students tend to ask parents or other relatives for <br>help in doing assignments. Students also tend to give up when they find <br>difficulties in learning.
