Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa sekolah dasar terhadap pengelolaan sampah melalui edukasi pemilahan sampah organik, anorganik, dan B3 serta dampaknya terhadap lingkungan. Program dilaksanakan di SDN Lirboyo 1, 2, dan 4 di Kediri, melibatkan siswa kelas 3 hingga 6. Metode pengabdian mencakup sosialisasi interaktif, permainan edukatif untuk praktik pemilahan sampah, serta tugas pembuatan kerajinan tangan dari limbah plastik bekas seperti tutup botol, sedotan, plastik makanan, dan bungkus snack yang diubah menjadi kipas atau sampul buku. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep reuse dan upcycling, dengan siswa mampu mempraktekkan pemilahan sampah secara mandiri dan menghasilkan karya kreatif yang bermanfaat. Kegiatan ini berhasil menanamkan gaya hidup peduli lingkungan sejak dini, diharapkan berkontribusi pada pengurangan limbah plastik di masyarakat sekitar
