Pengembangan Kampung Wisata Edukasi Mata Air Sumber Banteng di Kelurahan Tempurejo Kecamatan Pesantren Kota Kediri

Abstract
The development of educational tourism based on local potential is a strategic effort to support community empowerment and environmental conservation. Sumber Banteng Spring, located in Tempurejo Village, Pesantren District, Kediri City, has the potential to be developed as an Educational Tourism Village; however, its utilization has not been optimal due to limited supporting facilities, inadequate area arrangement, and a lack of tourism information media. This community service activity aimed to support the development of Sumber Banteng Educational Tourism Village through environmental arrangement, the development of educational attractions based on local potential, and the provision of tourism information media. The method applied was Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) and the local community. The activities were conducted through observation, planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results indicate that environmental greening programs, the construction of a goat breeding enclosure as an interactive educational attraction, and the provision of site maps and directional signboards contributed to improving area organization, educational value, and visitor convenience. These activities support the development of sustainable educational tourism.
